PRIVACY POLICY
This policy explains what information the Overloaded mobile app (Android package com.overloadedapp.overloaded, also on iPhone) and the website overloadedapp.com collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. Overloaded is operated by Evan Alexander ("we", "us"). Contact: alexander.evan88@gmail.com.
Summary
- Overloaded is free. We do not show ads and we do not sell or rent your personal data.
- We collect only what the app needs to run your account and adapt your workouts.
- You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time (how to delete).
Information we collect
Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address and an encrypted password, or, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the account identifier and email address that provider shares with us. You can also use the app as a guest; a guest account has an anonymous identifier and no email.
Fitness and training data you enter. This includes your onboarding answers (for example training experience, goals and body weight), the coach and avatar options you pick, workouts you plan, save or complete, the sets, reps and weights you log, how a set felt, notes, check-ins, workout reviews, personal records, scores and achievements. We use this to estimate your starting weights, adjust future sets, and show your history and progress.
Website beta signup. If you join the beta on overloadedapp.com, we store your email address, the phone platform you chose (iPhone or Android), an optional referral code from the link or QR code you used (for example a gym code), and the signup time.
Technical information. To deliver app updates, the app checks our update service (Expo Updates), which receives basic request information such as app version, platform and IP address. Our hosting providers may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability.
What we do not collect. The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not access your location, contacts or photos. Coach voice lines are played from the app or generated by your phone's built-in text-to-speech; we do not record audio.
How we use information
- To create and secure your account and sign you in.
- To store your training history and sync it across your devices.
- To calculate starting weights, progressive-overload suggestions, levels and stats.
- To manage beta access (invite codes) and email you about your beta invite or important changes to the app.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and deliver app updates.
Where data is stored and who we share it with
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf:
- Supabase: account authentication and database for app data.
- Cloudflare: website hosting and the beta signup database.
- Expo (EAS Update): delivery of app updates.
- Google and Apple: only if you choose to sign in with them.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users or the service.
Security
All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Our providers encrypt stored data at rest, and database access is restricted so each account can only read its own records. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Retention
We keep your account and training data while your account exists. When you request deletion, we delete your account and associated data within 30 days, except where we must keep limited information to comply with the law. Beta signup records are deleted on request or once the beta ends and they are no longer needed.
Deleting your account and data
You can request deletion of your Overloaded account and all associated data at any time by emailing alexander.evan88@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Overloaded account deletion". Full steps are on our account deletion page.
Your choices and rights
You can view and edit your training data in the app, and you can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
Age requirement
Overloaded is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Overloaded provides general fitness guidance and is not medical advice. Consult a doctor before starting a new exercise program.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify users in the app or by email where appropriate.
